Resumen

Abstract – This paper describes the development of a route planner for Unmanned Surface Vehicles (USVs). At the same time, it studies different missions that could be supported by such vehicles, deploying an operational scenario for a specific mission – the Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW). Through the design and implementation of a simulation model, is going to be analyzed the effect of different factors that influence specifically in ASW as search pattern, speed and kind of sensor; dipping sonar or towed array sonar (TAS). This papers also contains the USVs response in deployment of this type of mission from an effectiveness measurement, using the threat detecting time and threat detection in a search area as parameters to measure the performance.
